Our standard fee is £699 plus VAT per Award when acting for the Building Owner. Reduced fees are available where multiple adjoining owners are involved. If you are an Adjoining Owner, your neighbour (the Building Owner) usually pays your reasonable surveyor costs.
Not always. If your neighbour consents to the notice, a Party Wall Award is not required. However, we recommend a Schedule of Condition to protect both parties in case of later disputes.
If neighbours consent, notices can be completed within days. If a dispute arises, surveyors are appointed and an Award is agreed, which can take two to eight weeks depending on complexity.
Yes. If both parties are happy to use the same surveyor, we can act impartially as the Agreed Surveyor. This is often quicker and more cost-effective.
